Subject : Revised Guidelines for Certificate Course in Maritime Catering

These guidelines are outcome of exhaustive study carried out by the expert committee. It has been an outcome of interaction with examiners, training institutes, and the industry through surveys, forum, and several workshops, and experience gathered during past three years.

Learning Objectives to eliminate ambiguity at teaching, learning, and assessment.

Equipment list has been modified stating specifications, and to match number of trainees at one time

This circular will supersede Training Circular 18 of 2005 and 4 of 2006.

Exiting training institutes will be required to comply with revised guidelines with effect from next course commencing in July 2010.

On completion of required changes, each training institutes will be expected to inform respective Academic Councils and invite them for inspection on the basis of these guidelines.
