TRAINING CIRCULAR 13 OF 2003
F.No.3-TR(31)/2003 |
Dated: August 19, 2003 |
Sub: : Eligibility criteria for General Purpose Rating
It has come to the notice of the Directorate that some of the institutes have wrongly/fraudulently admitted the boys who have not passed in Science/ Maths/ English. Careful perusal of training Circular no. 5 of 2000 makes its amply clear that the required candidate should be passed in Std. 10th with Science and Maths as Subject. As per M.S. Notice No. 24 of 2002 the same has been reiterated and only addition has been made where candidate is suppose to pass in English subject in Std. 10th. It is amply clear that the candidate has to be passed in English/Science/ and Maths as subject in standard 10th before he becomes eligible to join G.P. Rating course.
This circular is being issued only to clarify the position and it is reiterated that there is no change in the policy of the Directorate on these issues.
All training institutes should comply strictly otherwise they will be playing with the career of the candidates who will not be getting CDCs as well as they shall attract to the provisions of Part V of the DGS Order No. 1 of 2003.
