Sub: Treatment of weekly holidays in pre-sea and modular courses
In partial modification to Training Circular No. 11/2002, the institutes conducting following pre-sea courses of long duration are hereby permitted to conduct four basic modular courses during the main pre-sea courses provided they are approved for conducting these courses and , the original time table and duration of such main pre-sea courses is not reduced

4-Year Degree course in Marine Engineering |

1-year Trainee Marine Engineering Course |

2 - years course for Marine Engineer under Alternate Training Scheme |

2-year Trainee Marine Engineering course |
These four basic modular courses should be staggered for cadets in such a way that normal instructions, training and rest period are not effected.
This will come in force with immediate effect.
