his Directorate has received references regarding verification of CDCs being requested by private shipping companies/agencies from time to time. This Directorate has accordingly considered the matter and the Director General of Shipping and ex-officio Additional Secretary to the Govt. of India hereby authorises the Shipping Masters to collect a fee of Rs.200/- (Rupees two hundred only) by demand draft for each request of verification of CDC records/documents, only from the private shipping companies/agencies, and remit the amount to the Government account
This Circular comes into force with immediate effect.
